In addition to actively participating in several overhead crane industry committees, Whiting engineers have participated since the inception of the ASME Cranes for Nuclear Facilities Committee. This committee publishes both the ASME NOG-1 and NUM-1 standards.
Whiting maintains a 10 CFR 50 Appendix B and ASME NQA-1 quality program complete with Part 21 reporting commitments. Our quality program has been audited numerous times by NUPIC and found acceptable. Projects with do not require the rigor of nuclear quality control can be completed via our ISO 9001:2015 program.
